Camping Trips February 22 - 25

Our daughter was returning from Iraq and we wanted to make sure we were there when she got back. We made the trip down to Perry, GA to Twin Oaks RV Park on Wednesday Feb 22. She's stationed at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, GA so we were right down the road. After many delays, she finally got in about 11:30 that night. We all went back to the camper to talk and catch up. Our snobby Class A neighbors complained to the management the next day that we were too loud. Sure. Talking inside the trailer?? Anyway, on Friday night, Stephanie and her friend Tiffany (who just returned from Qatar) came out to the camper and we grilled out steaks and had a great time. Since it was before quiet time, we made sure we had a "really good time".

Here we are all set up the first day.

Twin Oaks is a very nice RV park at exit 127 on I-75 just south of Perry, GA.

Lady's finally growing some hair back after the horrible clipping she got at The Puppy Palace in Shelbyville, TN.

Friday was an excellent day for outside sitting. Temps were around 70 and sunny.

Here's our snobby neighbors. I had just posted on RV.net that I had never run into any snobby RV'ers. And then the next weekend we run into these.

This is Friday night, grilling out steaks. Tiffany on the left and Stephanie on the right.
