Camping Trips December 26 - January 2

Every year we take the week between Christmas and New Years and take off to the campground. This year we chose Natchez Trace State Park in Wildersville, TN. There are two campgrounds for RV's there. The first one is right off the interstate and is called the Wrangler's Campground. The sites are small and rustic with only power and water. We went to the newer campground that is further into the park. The new campground is about 5 years old and right by the lake with 30 and 50 amp, water and sewer hookup. Not a lot of trees because the park is still fairly new and the ones they planted are still small. Some very large sites that we fit into with ease. A bit windy because of the lake but overall a great place to spend a little time. Lots there for families including a playground and swimming area.

We got a nice deep site right by the lake with full hookup and an easy shot for the satellite.

This is the only day we could even use the awning. The wind was extremely strong the rest of our stay.

A view of the lake with the sun going down.

These heaters are GREAT for outside sitting. Even in 32 degree weather I was toasty!

Nothing like a "water view" out the back windows of an RV.
