We left Thanksgiving
afternoon headed for Jackson, TN. We actually left later than we wanted
to so since I don't see that great at night, we decided to stop at dusk
for overnight and then leave the next morning for our final destination. By the time we got
into the park it was dark and it was hard to tell what the surroundings
were like but it didn't look good even in the dark. The pictures below
tell the tale the next morning. All I can say is, sometimes you get a
great RV park and sometimes you get "the junkyard". I could
swear I heard banjos...

Here's our
site. And right behind our site is the barn and makeshift auto
repair shop where "Bubba" worked on his truck till all
hours of the night. I love the site signs that look like a seven
year old painted them! You don't suppose these sites are out of
level do you? |

Yes, someone is
actually living in this and yes, that is really a satellite
dish. Note the old Kamping Kabins. I can't believe that KOA
would actually drop a campground, my bet is that they decided
not to pay the franchise fee anymore. |

Talk about permanent! That brown
fifth wheel was completely enclosed with UNDERPINNING, an
enclosed DECK and a huge PROPANE TANK right on site! And even
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!!!!! |

This is the view right behind our
site and to the left of the "barn". Yes...it's a
junkyard! |
