Notes: We expected it would be cooler by going the northern
routes. Yeah right. It was 100 here today! Although the humidity
was only 20%, it was still HOT.
I e-mailed the Governor of Minnesota to give him my opinion of
the rest area closings. Apparently tourism is not welcome in MN.
About 8 pm we realized there is a race track in downtown Rapid
City. And I think it's right next to us! They finally stopped
about 1 AM this morning. When I raced, the tracks were out in
the boonies. Not RIGHT DOWN TOWN! |
| Tomorrow's Plans: Our plans are to go to
Deadwood to do the cowboy thing. Then Sunday we'll leave for
Montana. |
