See The USA - Day 4 - Mitchell, SD
July 5, 2005 - We left Oakdale at 6:30 and got our first surprise of the day crossing over into MN. I guess MN doesn't like tourists. They closed EVERY rest area on I-90. Luckily, we bring our own facilities with us!

With the rest areas closed, our first rest stop was at an onramp.

Pulling with a diesel truck makes life much easier. Just pull into the truck stops, easy in and out. Most of the gas stations are set up for cars and you end up backing out of the pumps every time. We made lunch camp behind the truck stop where we fueled up. Popped the slide out a little and had lunch in the trailer.

This is what greeted you at EVERY rest stop in MN.

We pulled in at the KOA in Mitchell, SD about 2:30 and got set up. Once I started the grill, about one million flies showed up. I've never seen so many flies in my life. Debbie found the source when she was walking Lady. A nice barnyard next to the campground.

So we went inside, watched a movie and are leaving in the morning. Lady was not a bit impressed with the movie.
