| This is Mt. Bachelor. That's where we're
headed. |

| This is the ski lodge at the base of the
mountain. |

| We'll ride the chair lift up to the top
of the mountain. |

| I took this on the ride up. |

| At the top, this is the view of the
Three Sisters lined up. The one to the right is not a
mountain. It's just a bump. |

| This is the view to the west toward the
coast. That is the Cascade Mountain Range. |

| This is the ride down on the chair lift. |

| We stopped by one of the MANY lakes
around the mountains. |

| This is the Cowboy Dinner Tree
Restaurant. Yes. It is a shack. Believe it or not,
people come here from hundreds of miles away to eat. And
reservations normally are months in advance. |

| This is the waiting room. It is a real
teepee. |

| Our table was ready so we didn't have to
use the waiting room. |

| There is no menu. It's Beef or Chicken.
The meal starts with a huge bowl of salad. Then the
mid-meal which is black bean soup and rolls. Then the
main course. That is one huge hunk of beef. I could only
eat half of it. A great meal although a long trip to get
there. And a very unique restaurant. |
