Full Timing Journal - May 2010

May 31, 2010 - Wow, long time no update. We left Gulf Shores, Al and stayed two weeks at Brickyard Plantation RV Park in Americus, GA. With an everyday Passport America rate of $15, we stayed two weeks for cheap. Nice place, in the middle of nowhere and REAL quiet. Then duty called and we had to move up to Warner Robins, GA to be near Stephanie for her "latest" knee surgery. Hopefully this is the last one. South Georgia is NOT one of our favorite parts of the country. Anyway, the surgery is done and Steph is starting to get around a little bit. We're scheduled to leave here on the 12th of June but we may leave earlier. The heat and humidity gets to me more as I get older. We have a busy summer planned so our "sitting still" time is almost done. Lots of friends to meet up with in the cool north. We had a surprise visit from one of our friends on Saturday night. Rich from West Palm Beach was on his way north and was passing by us so he stopped in for overnight. It was great timing as we were just about to grill some ribeyes and had an extra. We had a nice visit but too short as Rich had to be on his way early the next morning.
