April 3, 2010 - We got to Gulf Shores, AL a week ago
today. NO RAIN...yet. The temps have been decent, low 70's
although a bit breezy every day. We met up with Tim & Jean
and Paul & Rose a few times and as always enjoyed their
company. We got our seafood fix at The Shrimp Basket the day
before Paul & Rose had to leave to head back to Kentucky.
Tim & Jean hosted a cookout last Monday with all of us and a
few of their friends from the area. We met some nice people
there. I've been trying out my new grill and loving it. Those of
you who know me, know that I am a "die hard" charcoal
guy, that changed with my new Weber Baby Q grill. Wow, I never
knew a propane grill could be so good. We've cooked steaks on it
a few times and I cannot tell the difference in taste from the
charcoal to this grill. We found some yard art at Old Time
Pottery, I'll post a few pictures this weekend. Today we're
going to the Mellow Mushroom for pizza with Tim & Jean.
