June 20, 2009 - Guess I need to do some updating. We
stayed at Waldenwoods in Hartland, MI for our two weeks and then
moved to Port Clinton, OH to another of our membership parks for
a week. I can't believe we're still wearing jackets in JUNE.
With the exception of a couple places, everywhere we've been has
been either rain, cold or both. We
counted, we've seen the sun for only 20 days since we left Texas
March 21. This is RIDICULOUS. Thank goodness for Al Gore's
global warming or we all would be freezing to death. If I had my
way we'd be hauling butt back to Texas. It's a bit warm there
right now but at least it's not
raining there. Monday we'll go back to Waldenwoods for two
weeks. After that, we'll probably head up to Alpena to see our
friends Larry and Phyllis, then take a tour of the west side of
Michigan. We can only hope that it WARMS up sometime in July and
stops RAINING!
