March 30, 2009 - The dish is installed and working great.
It's great to have HD on the road now. We arrived at Doc's RV
Park in Gulf Shores and set up next to Tim & Jean. We'll
stay here a week and then head to Georgia to see Stephanie.

March 28, 2009 - All it's done is rain and storm since we
got here. It's moving day again and it's still storming.
Hopefully it will let up this morning to get everything ready to
go. We're headed to Robertsdale, AL to the Camping World. We
have an appointment for Monday to have a Winegard automatic HD
dish installed. They said we could come in on Saturday and stay
free for the weekend with hookups. Free is for me. After the
install we'll be meeting up with our friends Tim & Jean at
Doc's RV Park in Gulf Shores. We're really looking forward to
seeing them again.

March 24, 2009 - Arrived in Bay St Louis, MS yesterday.
Staying at the Hollywood Casino RV Park. It's a decent enough
park, not really worthy of the ratings it gets but it's
definitely a decent place. The buffet at the Hollywood leaves a
lot to be desired. When it was Casino Magic it was a lot better.
We used to stay at Buccaneer State Park in Waveland but it's
still closed after Katrina. We took our familiar drive down Hwy
90 but it was no longer familiar. The beautiful Gulf Coast has a
lot of rebuilding to do even though they have come a long way. A
few casinos are open but there's not much else to do here. All
the Mom & Pop seafood restaurants apparently chose not to
rebuild. About all that's available is fast food and chain
restaurants. Even Red Lobster did not rebuild here. Sad. It was
such a great place to come to. Maybe in 10 years it will regain
what it had.

March 22, 2009 - Another fairly short day found us in
Kinder, LA at the Red Shoes RV Park. It's part of the Coushatta
Indian Casino. Nice RV Park, looks like someone copied exactly
the park in Tunica at the Grand (now Harrah's). Great buffet at
the casino, one of the best we've had. The RV Park was very
reasonable at $19 for the night.

March 21, 2009 - Back on the road again! We left Mission
this morning headed east. Arrived in Victoria, TX about 2 PM for
an overnight stop at Gateway to the Gulf RV Park. Read our
