| January 29, 2008 - Boy I have not been
good about keeping this up lately. We left Rockport and headed
to Mission, TX on Jan 9th. We pulled into Seven Oaks RV Park and
immediately met a bunch of great people. George &
Wilma were already at the park and they stopped by the first day
as we were setting up. Seven Oaks is a good park in most ways,
not so good in other ways but is one of the nicer places to stay
that we've seen. Their security is very bad though and there is
a lot of theft going on in the park so we started looking for
another park. A friend told us about a new development of deeded
lots in Leisure Valley Ranch so we went out and took a look. We
knew we'd be coming to the Rio Grande Valley each winter so we
may as well have our own place to park. We bought a developed
lot and moved in today. Now we have some work to do to get it
like we want it. |

| January 2, 2008 - Happy New Year! We left
Port Aransas via the ferry and went to Rockport, TX at an ROD
park where we'll stay for a week before heading down to the Rio
Grande Valley. It's a nice enough park with large wooded sites. |
